ABILENE, Texas – It was 37 degrees on the season opener for McMurry, and not only was the weather cold but errors iced the team’s chances to defeat West Texas A&M and the Buffaloes took a 7-4 victory at Walt Driggers Field Sunday. McMurry committed six errors including three on the first three plays of the game that turned into a 3-0 start for WTAMU.

BELTON, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s basketball team fought back to make a game of it late, but the Cru never completely overcame an early 18-2 deficit in an 88-76 loss to McMurry University Thursday night in Belton. The loss snaps UMHB’s eight-game losing streak and drops the Cru to 14-6 overall and 12-4 in American Southwest Conference play. McMurry improves to 14-6 overall and 12-4 in the ASC with the win and the two teams are now tied for first in the ASC West with five regular season games remaining.

BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball team dominated the first half and then never let McMurry University back into the game as the Cru rolled to a 74-60 victory Thursday night in Belton. The UMHB women improve to 16-4 overall and 13-3 in American Southwest Conference play and the Cru women have now won 12 straight games. The loss drops McMurry to 12-8 overall and 9-7 in the ASC on the year.
