Full NCGA all-America & all-Region teams

ABILENE, Texas - The National Golf Coaches Association named McMurry University's Monica Harris as one of 10 members of the NCAA Division III all-West Region team Thursday.

Harris, the junior golfer from Merkel, had a solid season for head coach Russ Evans in her third year on the team. She helped McMurry to a fourth-place finish at the American Southwest Conference championships April 20.

She had several key individual performances throughout the spring including a second-place finish at the LeTourneau Spring Classic April 13 to help McMurry win the tournament, and she placed first at the UC-Santa Cruz Invitational March 26 in which McMurry also went on to win first place.

Harris was named ASC Female Golfer of the week twice as a junior and was an academic all-conference honoree. Joining her on the all-South Region golf team was fellow ASC representative Angela Aufderhaar of Texas Lutheran University.
