2010 McMurry Football Schedule
ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University plans to continue its relationship and support of Dyess Air Force Base with “Operation Maroon Pride” in association with the 2010 football season. McMurry fans will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for active military personnel and their dependents.
Any season tickets purchased will be a tax deductible benefit that benefits both McMurry football and the men and women of Dyess who proudly serve the United States Military.
“You don't have to be a fan of football or McMurry to participate. This is one of the many ways you can honor them for serving to save your life,” said McMurry athletics director Ron Holmes. “It would be the least you could do for them, and you don't even have to know them.”
Fans can participate in Operation Maroon Pride and buy a season ticket for an active member for $30. If that active member brings their child under the age of 12, that child gets in the door free. Operation Maroon Pride tickets will be sold online at http://mcmurrysports.com/tickets, tickets may be purchased in person on campus in the football offices inside the R.M. Medley Field House, or sponsors may write checks payable to McMurry Football.
Donors will also be listed in the game-day program for every home game. The McMurry football home season begins Sept. 11 with two consecutive home games starting with a game against Texas College Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.
